Prairie-made AI, without the hype.
The AI Collective exists to make artificial intelligence make sense for the businesses that keep Western Canada running — the shops, trades, cafés, clinics, and farms that don't have a tech department.
Why we started this
Most AI coverage is written for Silicon Valley, not Saskatchewan. It's either breathless hype or dense jargon — and neither helps a busy owner decide what to actually do on Monday morning.
We're operators and builders based in Saskatchewan. We use AI every day to run real businesses, and we got tired of translating the noise ourselves. So we started sharing what works — plainly, honestly, and with a Prairie accent.
Our promise: no hype, no fear-mongering, no affiliate-link soup. When a tool is worth your money, we'll tell you why. When it isn't, we'll say that too.
- Local first
Built for Sask and Western Canada — real examples, real grants, real regulations like PIPEDA.
- Plain English
If your teenager couldn't follow it, we rewrite it. No jargon walls.
- Practical over trendy
We care about what saves you time and makes you money — not what's viral this week.
- Honest, always
We only recommend tools we'd use ourselves, and we'll always be upfront about why.
Built an AI tool that can help Prairie business?
We're always looking for genuinely useful AI tools to recommend to the small and medium businesses we work with. If you've built something that solves a real problem — a scheduler, an automation, a niche assistant — tell us about it. If it's a fit, we'll put it in front of the businesses that need it.
